Ashlyn welch

I’m Ashlyn “Asher” Welch, a menswear and outerwear designer from Dallas, Texas, currently finishing my BFA in Fashion Design at Kent State University. I'm also studying a minor in Jewelry, Metals, and Enamels, which gives my work a material-driven perspective.

I specialize in designing functional menswear and innovative outerwear that balances concept with craftsmanship. My metals background shapes the way I build garments: sculptural, clean construction, and a focus on creating pieces that feel both wearable and forward-thinking.

I’m driven by research, hands-on experimentation, and a love for problem-solving through design. As I step into the industry, I’m looking to bring my technical skills, curiosity, and point of view to teams that value innovation and storytelling.
